Sunday Club News

Following over 10 years of service from Fiona Presly, it is my privilege to have taken over leading the Barn’s Sunday Club.  It was a little daunting (to say the least!) to follow in the footsteps of someone with such an obvious love and care for the children as Fiona has.  However, the Sunday Club leaders are a

wonderful team of people and the children are such a joy to spend time with that the first few weeks have flown past and I am really enjoying this ministry.

Sunday Club is great fun!  We worship together and learn about God through teaching, sharing and lots of hands-on activities.  We have 30 children at the moment and plenty of space for more, so if you know of anyone who would like to come, please invite them!

We have been learning all about creation as we have been looking at Genesis week by week, and are moving on through Cain and Abel, to the stories about the life of Abraham.  Throughout December we are taking a break from Genesis to concentrate on Christmas and are looking forward to our Christmas party on the 16th December and the Family Service on 23rd December when we are taking part in a nativity.  Each Sunday Club parent should have received a note from me with all the details of what’s happening when – if not, please just ask me!
